Rash of break-ins at various Alcona businesses

Theft of Cash drawer - Shoppers Drug Mart

On Monday, April 16th a male entered an Alcona business just before closing. He was wearing a dark pullover with a hood, dark pants and white running shoes. The drawstring on the hood was pulled tight as not to be detected by the store cameras. The male entered the store and waited until all persons were at the back. He then attended to the cash register located at the front of the store. He proceeded to drag the cash register away from the Kiosk. The register broke on the way out the store and the individual left with the cash drawer. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. No one was hurt during the theft. Video surveillance captured the complete theft. South Simcoe Police Canine were called in to assist. The individual was not located. The individual was described as male white and his approx. height was 5'7 or 5' 8." Anyone with information on this evening theft are asked to call the South Simcoe Police or your local Crime Stoppers.

Break, Enter and Theft - Videoflicks

South Simcoe Police responded to an Innisfil Video business in relation to a burglar alarm activation at approximately 4:45am Sunday April 15th, 2007. Upon police attendance at the business the front door glass was found smashed in. A small amount of cash was found to missing.

Break & Enter Business - Proper Pet Supplies

South Simcoe Police were called to an Alcona Business on Sunday morning as the owner called advising his store had been broken into sometime overnight. Police attended and observed that someone had entered through a window by breaking the glass.

Once inside they removed a cash register from the premise. A small amount of money was left inside the register. The individual(s) exited out the front door.
