Special Invitation to Students to "Bring a Buddy" and Donate Together

April 2007 -- Canadian Blood Services is asking you to celebrate spring by joining many other dedicated donors by making an appointment to donate blood.

Students age 17 or older on April 19th are especially encouraged to participate in this community clinic. Bring a buddy and donate together!

"We need additional donors to continue supplying blood and blood products for cancer treatments, surgeries, and accidents that happen every day in every community across Canada," states Tami Clark, Clinic Recruitment Coordinator, Canadian Blood Services. The need for blood is constant; that is why Canadian Blood Services is asking you to call and donate blood."

"Please remember to keep your appointment and honour your commitment to give blood. Your donation is a life saving gift for three patients. If you are a first time donor, or haven't donated since you were in school, we would love to see you!"
