Police Week

The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services has designated the week of

May 13th to 19th, 2007 as Police Week in Ontario.

This is an annual event with the theme for 2007 being - "Safer Communities for a Stronger Ontario".

The South Simcoe Police Service will hosting a display at the Cookstown Manufacturer's Outlet Mall located at 3311 County Road 89, Cookstown. Officers will be on hand to interact with the public providing information on crime prevention and safety.

They will be available on Thursday, May 17, 2007 - 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Friday, May 18, 2007 - 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
