    The Innisfil Branch of the
Canadian Cancer Society needs
volunteers.   Their   involvement
enables   the   Canadian   Cancer
Society to fund cancer research,
provide information, services and
to support people living with cancer.

The Canadian Mental Health
Association   of   Barrie-Simcoe
supports the development and continuance
          of self-help groups as a
viable   community   resource   for
individuals experiencing difficulties.
    Self-Help groups can provide;
support and understanding through
difficult times; an opportunity to
meet with others who have experienced
      similar difficulties; information
    and education; a safe and comfortable
          environment; suggestions
regarding coping strategies that
help to get through difficult times.

Gilford and District Lions Club
is hosting the Purina Walk for Dog
Guides, a fundraising event set to
raise   money   for   the   Lions
Foundation   of   Canadian   Dog
Guides. The event starts at 1:30pm

ages and fitness levels are welcome
to attend, with or without a dog.

MADD Canada is hosting it's second
    annual 5km walk Strides for

9:30am at the bottom of Mulcaster
Street. The walk starts at 10am.
TUESDAY, JUNE 12TH
The   York   Simcoe   Naturalists

St. Paul's Anglican Church is
hosting their Annual Flea Market
and Bake Sale from 8:30am until

A Cemetary Service will be held
at 10am at St. Paul's Anglican
Church, Coulson's Hill. The ceremoney
        will be followed by refreshments.

Innisfil Pipes and Drums are celebrating
            their 30th Anniversary
with a Band Tattoo at the South
Innisfil Community Centre. The
show will feature 6 pipe bands,
Alcona Highland Dancers, Alcona
Cloggers and the OPP Chorus. The
show runs from 1 - 3:30pm and
tickets are available free at the
door.
TUESDAY, JUNE 26TH
Pre-registration for Summer's
Vacation Bible School will be held
at St. Paul's Church, located at the
