Renaming portions of Belle Ewart Park

Mayor Brian Jackson brought a notice of motion forward to council Wednesday regarding the commemoration of long time Belle Ewart resident Carol McPhearson.

McPhearson, the editor of the Innisfil Enterprise and former editor of The Scope was involved in various projects throughout the community over the past number of years. Instrumental in the redevelopment of Belle Ewart park, staff will consider naming certain aspects of the park after McPhearson.
