LEFROY/BELLE EWART NEWS
by Linda Gerow

It was with interest that I read about Mayor Brian Jackson introducing a motion on May 2nd to rename parts of Belle Ewart Park to honour long-time Innisfil resident and publisher of the Innisfil Enterprise, Carol McPherson. The park had been one of Carol's pet projects and she was instrumental in having the park redeveloped. When the report is finalized, it will be decided by council which part, or parts of the Park, will bear Carol's name. What a fitting way to pay tribute to an extremely nice lady.
