Innisfil residents who take their time to volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society were honoured on Monday evening. Pins and Certificates of Appreciation were handed out for 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service. In 2006, the Barrie Chapter, which includes Innisfil, Tottenham,Alliston, Collingwood, Bradford, Barrie and Wasaga Beach raised $1.3 million. There are over 200 volunteers from Innisfil, including 70 volunteer drivers, who have taken 714 patients to get treatment. Congratulations - job well done!
