Woman charged for shoplifting

Essa Twp - On the 20th of May around 10:20 a.m., Nottawasaga OPP was contacted to attend a local department store on Massey St. in Angus where an adult female was arrested for shoplifting several articles of clothing and footwear.

As the store was opening for business for the day; at approximately 10 a.m., the 33 year old entered and proceeded to "shop" for a variety of apparel.

Charged for theft under $5000 is Donna Ouwendyk. She is to appear in court in June in Bradford to answer to the charge.
