Crime of the Week

(Barrie, Ontario) Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin- Muskoka and the Barrie Police Service are seeking the assistance of the public in helping to solve several occurrences of mischief and vandalism in the City of Barrie over the past months.

Unknown persons have spray painted several buildings including schools, stores, private residences and hydro boxes. These occurrences are not only expensive to clean up but also take away from the enjoyment of the community atmosphere. This tagging does nothing to enhance the beauty of our city. The persons responsible need to be reminded that this is a criminal offence and when caught will be charged accordingly.
