Condolences to the family of Jack Caldwell. Our thoughts are with you.
Confirmation was held on Sunday, June 3 at Trinity United Church, when four young ladies, Chloe Clarke, Jordyn Atkins, Elsa Johnston and Joelle Dewsbury became members of the church. The girls spent many hours preparing for confirmation by attending meetings with their minister, participating in the Fast for Famine and traveling to Niagara Falls for the Snowflake convention. Well done, and congratulations on reaching this milestone. Sunday, June 3rd was also the day that the Sunday School pins were awarded to eleven children. A first year pin went to Jordyn Atkins, third year to Brandon Fawkes, fifth year to Kyra Webb & Brooklyn Dewsbury, sixth year to Kim Rainey, Chloe Clarke, & James Clarke, eighth year to Brianne Webb & Kristen Dewsbury and tenth year pins were presented to Elsa Johnston and Joelle Dewsbury. This was followed by a presentation to retiring Sunday School Superintendent, Margaret Johnston and appreciation gifts were given to Sunday School teachers Janet Dewsbury, Jan Rainey and Audrey Webb. Fun and games came next at the Sunday School picnic signaling the end of Sunday School until September.
