Crime of the Week

(Angus, Ontario - June 11th, 2007) Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka and the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the assistance of the public in helping to solve an occurrence involving a pellet gun in the village of Angus.

On June 4th, at approximately 7:15pm a 16 year old boy was walking along Corrie Crescent and was shot at with a pellet gun from a passing motor vehicle. The boy was skateboarding with a couple of 10 year old boys when he was shot in the hand. The boy was taken to hospital were a pellet was removed. The suspect vehicle is described as a green and beige Pontiac Montana passenger van. The suspect and driver is described as "Goth looking" approximately 19 years old, tall, thin, wearing dark clothing and short dark hair. There were also two females as passengers in the vehicle.
