Camp Tiffin returns Camp Tiffin, offers summertime adventures for boys and girls each week in July for kids 7-11. During our Challengers Week July 9 - 13, campers will have a challenging week learning to build their own fort, safely learning how to light a campfire, gaining some first aid skills and graduating from the Tiffin Wildlife detective school! The next week is for our Explorers - July 16 - 20. Hiking, using a map and compass and even cooking over an open fire will be just some of the things that campers will get to experience. The final week is reserved for our Voyageurs - July 23-27. Campers will get to put all their new camp skills to use this week. Bush craft, woodworking, campfires and a final special sleep-over in a tent! The week will end with a BBQ on Friday to wrap up our time together. Each week will also feature games, nature activities, arts and crafts and lots more! The cost for campers is $205 per week or $295 per week for members of the Wolf Pack. The Tiffin Centre for conservation is a year-round outdoor education centre, offering over 15 different curriculum based programs to elementary school students across Simcoe county. Our summer programs utilize many of these programs and lots more. Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. To register or for more information, contact Sandra Green, Camp Director at (705)-424-1485. |
