Crime of the Week

(Oro-Medonte, Ontario - June 25th, 2007) Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka and the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the assistance of the public in helping to solve the theft of a custom trailer and seven Mercury Stern Drives from the Oro-Medonte area.

During the night of June 20th - 21st, 2007 seven mercury stern drives were stolen from Skyline Marine on Forestview Road and during the said night a custom made trailer was stolen from A&G Roofing on Forest Plain Road. The total value of these two thefts is approximate $100,000.00. It is believed the culprits used the trailer to remove the stern drives.
