Cross with Care update

South Simcoe Police have completed the second week of the "Cross with Care" campaign targeting pedestrian cross overs in the downtown core of Bradford.

Police charged 50 motorists with cross over related violations, including speeding and fail to yield to pedestrians. Police also charged two motorists with drug possession and charged another two with driving under suspension.

A total of 18 pedestrians were cautioned . Police will keep the campaign going for another week and remind motorists and pedestrians alike to obey the rules of the road at all pedestrian cross overs
