Charity golf tournament for breast cancer

The Fireplace Stop in Schomberg will be hosting a charity golf tournament July 10.

Aimed at honouring the memory of the late Mildred Leonard, Maureen Murphy and Don Wickett, the annual tournament will be held at Cardinal Golf Club on Highway 9. Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation. The cost is $150, and that includes 18 holes, a cart, dinner and other prizes. Call (905) 939-8758 for more information.
