LEFROY/BELLE EWART NEWS I hope that everyone had a very happy Canada Day on the weekend. There was a nice little parade on Saturday, June 30th that ended at the RCL Branch 547 for some festivities. Right next door, the Baptist Church was holding their yard sale, so there was something for everyone to make for an enjoyable afternoon. It's no secret that Branch 547 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Belle Ewart does some great work within the community. Recently the Lefroy Minor Hockey received some funds from 547 to sponsor a Hockey Team. Lefroy is home to the Icebreakers. For information about the team, visit their website at www.lefroyminorhockey.com Branch 547 Lefroy Belle Ewart Legion: Hours are Fridays and Saturdays 2-7 p.m and Sundays 1-5 p.m. The Cenotaph area is looking very spiffy these days with the flags flying. The concrete has been poured around the base and stamped to look like interlock. Check it out! Annual Garage Sale: The Ladies Auxiliary garage sale has been postponed until September 8th. Hall Rentals are available with a Smart Serve bartender as part of the package. A DJ is also available upon request.
