Out of town Tractor Olympics first of its kind

Country Heritage Park presents the All Colour Antique Tractor and Toy Show featuring the first ever Tractor Olympics demonstration.

The event takes place on Friday July 20th from 12pm- 9pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm. This is the first time that Country Heritage Park is conducting the Tractor Olympics and it is shaping up to be a very exciting weekend.

Visitors can watch as three events are demonstrated by each of the three classes: Lawn Tractors, drivers under 16 years of age; Lawn Tractors, drivers over 16 years of age; and Antique Farm Tractors under 3000 pounds. The events that each division will demonstrate are: the slalom course; the egg carry; and the pole stop. Keith Hewer, the founder of the Tractor Olympics explains that this event is "for people who are seeking action and entertainment".

In addition to the Tractor Olympics, some of the featured exhibits will include: our collection of rare and vintage tractors, Massey- Harris, Ford, John Deere, Cockshutt, Case IH and Allis-Chalmers tractors. As well, the All Colour Swap Shop, Lawn Tractor Races and the Collectibles Auction will be only a few of the other events offered.

Country Heritage Park is nestled in the shadows of the Niagara Escarpment, south of Highway 401, on Tremaine Road west of Milton, Ontario. It offers educational programs for school children, special events, attractions, tour group programs, day camps, historical interpretation of exhibits, an outstanding collection of antique tractors, steam engines, farm equipment and rural life artifacts. As well, Country Heritage Park offers facilities for weddings, trade shows, corporate and family celebrations and business meetings. Country Heritage Park is operated by Country Heritage Experiences Inc., a charitable not-for-profit association.
