Essa defers home business bylaw

Essa council has deferred passage of a bylaw which would license and regulate home businesses in the township.

Council were slated to pass the bylaw at last week's council meeting but Thornton area councillor Rick Newlove said that he would like further time to review the bylaw's impact on local businesses.

Council agreed to the delay and will look at passing the bylaw in September.
