Summer events at Simcoe County Museum

Threadworks 2007- June 22nd - August 17th

The Simcoe County Museum is presenting Threadworks 2007, a juried exhibition of needle arts.

On exhibition from June 22nd to Aug. 17th, Threadworks is a special project of the Ontario Network of Needleworkers in collaboration with the Wellington County Museum & Archives.

The theme for 2007 is Passions and all of the pieces were created with this theme in mind.

Dramatic wall hangings provide the background for a variety of smaller pieces such as three-dimensional sculptures.

These pieces of art will only travel to less than 20 galleries and museums across Ontario until the fall of 2009.

Be among the first to see this fantastic exhibit of exceptional art. Regular museum admission rates apply for this exhibit.
