LSRCA Board given Scanlon Creek presentation

Dan Williams, Manager of Educational Services at Scanlon Creek gave the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) Board of Directors a presentation regarding the programs and services offered at Scanlon Creek.

"LSRCA has been involved with educational programs since 1978," he said. "If you educate the public, then you have the support for what you're doing."

He said the centre accommodates the curriculum for the classes coming into the facility. He says the programs are tailored to keep current with what students are learning in their classrooms.

The centre is funded by the Lake Simcoe Conservation Foundation, which donated $20,000 this year.
