Tec-We-Gwill W.I.

Twenty-four members of the Tec we Gwill W.I. and friends, had a wonderful excursion on Saturday, August 11th.

They were invited by fellow W.I. member Pat Wood to the Woods Dairy farm near Cannington, ON. After selling their old farm at the 5th sideroad and Hwy.88 in West Gwillimbury, they purchased this new place.

Here the guests enjoyed a delicious lunch in the 100 year old brick, 11 room farm house, situated on a hill, overlooking a pond an bush.

After lunch they went to the Quilt and Craft Show in Cannington, where many beautiful quilts and unusual crafts were displayed.

Back to Pat Wood for regrouping for the return drive home. On behalf of each and everyone, manh thanks to Pat Wood for this delightful summer outing.

Best wishes

Speedy healing to Helen Bohrisch, who enjured her back in a fall at home and is now a patient at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.

Her husband Hans hopes, she can come home for a complete recovery.
