Lake Simcoe survey deadline August 30
by Michelle Minnoch

The Ladies of the Lake have partnered up with some environmental groups and launched a website survey as part of an internet based initiative in order to gain more awareness on the state of Lake Simcoe.

"It really only takes about two minutes," said LOL Anabel Slaight.

The survey asks a few questions and has room for people to make comments.

"The great challenge we have with so many people living around the Lake that it gets in the way," she said. Slaight said it can sometimes be difficult for groups to get together as so many municipalities are on the lake.

"A website is a great way for people to share ideas and information if they are unable to physically get together."

The Ladies are asking people to take a moment to visit www.whataboutlakesimcoe.com to fill out the short questionnaire.

Those who fill out the survey are entered into a draw to win a flight for three around lake Simcoe with Canadian Flyers International, from Lake Simcoe Regional Airport, dinner for four at Michael and Marion's in downtown Barrie, or a Ladies of the Lake "Naked Truth" t-shirt for your input even.

*Please note: The cut-off date for your entry is August 30th.
