Lions Club needs wheelchairs

The Innisfil Lions Club are looking for new to fairly new wheelchairs and walkers. If you would like to donate to the Lions Club, please call 705-436-1640 and a Lion member will pick the item up.

The Lions are a charitable organization and loan out the equipment to the needy within the community. The Lion members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community. We welcome new members anytime. A Leo club for the teens will be starting up late October, and we hope you may consider joining our fun club.

Why should I become a Lion member? Here are a few examples

The Lions make a difference everyday in your community whether it is providing support locally or reaching out internationally, therefore you will have an opportunity to serve.

The Lions develop relationships with both local and international community and business leaders who gain an understanding and have an impact on local humanitarian issues.

To find out more about what Lions do, please contact our Lions Hall: 436- 1640

Some names of our charitable organizations:

Lions Camp for the Deaf; Lions Camp Dorset for Kidney Dialysis, Lions Camp Huronda for Diabetes, Lions Camp St. Joseph for the Blind, Simcoe Community Services Foundation for Special Needs, RVH Cancer Centre and so many more.

Our charitable fundraisers are generated through our Monday night Bingo and our annual Summerfest, and other fundraising events.

To become a Lion, ask one.
