Knock Schoolhouse restoration celebration

It's time to celebrate the extensive restoration project of Knock Heritage Schoolhouse! This project was a joint effort by the Town of Innisfil and the Innisfil Historical Society, made possible through grants, and the generosity of the community through personal donations.

On Sept. 15th, the official ceremonies to celebrate the restoration, and to officially recognize this building as Innisfil's first Heritage Site, will take place with an Open House from 1 - 4 p.m. The community is invited to view the one-room schoolhouse and enjoy light refreshments.

At 2 p.m., when the school bell rings, the official ceremony will begin.

The ceremony is planned for outdoors and don't forget your lawn chairs.

If Sept. 15th doesn't suit you, there are two Preview Days, when a tour of the school will be available: Wed., Sept. 5th, 9-12 a.m., and Wed., Sept. 12, 1-4 p.m.
