Mischief

On Friday Aug, 17th, South Simcoe Police were called to Goodfellow Public School in Alcona in response to a Mischief.

Contractors had been working at the school the previous day and were in the process of pouring new concrete sidewalks.

Sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning, unknown suspects rode bicycles through the wet concrete pads.

The damage is estimated at over $3,000.

Before the suspect(s) left the school, they wrote the names "Davi" and "Dalton" in the wet concrete.

Assault Causing

Bodily Harm

A 20-year old Bradford man has been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm following an altercation on Crown Cres. in Bradford on Sunday Aug. 19th.

SSP report that the male victim was driving home at approximately 11 p.m., when two suspects who were standing on the side of the roadway threw a pizza slice at his car. The victim stopped his car and confronted the two suspects at which time the suspects began to punch and kick the victim, eventually knocking him unconsciousness.

The suspects fled the area, but one of the men surrendered to police a short time later. He will be appearing in Bradford Provincial Court on Oct. 4th.

The victim was taken to South Lake Hospital in Newmarket with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
