Vendor spots available, silent auction items needed On Sunday, September 9th, Pet Country Estate is hosting their annual Paws for a Cause event, in which all money raised on the day will be donated to the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. This family fun day has raised $21,796.75 in the past three years and hopes to surpass last years total of $10,168. Vendors spots are still available and cost $25 per spot. Artisans and more have signed up for the popular event and owner Liz Gordon said she would love to have more artisans and businesses in the community participate in this worthwhile cause. There is also time to get your silent auction items to Liz. Remember, the more money raised, the bigger the donation to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. For information about how you can get on board, contact Liz at (705) 431-1010. This is a popular and busy spot every year, so the opportunities are endless. Make contacts! Make some new friends! Help out a worthy cause. Liz would like to thank this years major supporters, including; Sobey's Alcona, Fox's Buns Master Bakery, Ken Winter Sanitation, Water Plus Alcona, Foodland Stroud, Paintline Products Inc. Barrie, The Source Barrie, B101 and The New Chay. All supporters and vendors will be acknowledged in the September 12th edition of The Scope. |
