Editor embedded in training exercise

Scope editor Michelle Minnoch spent four days last week at the Canadian Manoeuvre Centre at CFB Wainwright in Alberta. The annual concentration of Ontario Army Reservists normally takes place in Petawawa, but 600 acres in Wainwright was transformed into Afghanistan in order to better train our troops.

The Scope features a pull out section today for you to read about the mission, the people behind the scenes, and how our troops are being prepared before heading overseas.
