Fish Supper

On Friday, August 31st, I watched Bonnie West, Joan Webb, Karen Korevaar and Elaine Gadsden, members of St. John's Anglican Church, getting the beans ready for the Sept. 7 Fish Supper.

The about 50 lbs of beans, grown on the West Family farm, that were cleaned from all things, left after combining.

After soaking the beans over night, the beans double in size and will be ready for the bean pots.

Be sure and come to taste them.

While there, Karen Korevaar, told me about her daughter 17 year old Mandy, who as a member of the Aurora Storm Volley Ball team, has participated in the Magna International Hoe Down, fundraising event.

Her other daughter, 15 year old Emily, was busy getting the material ready ,helping at the Vacation Bible School.
