     Above - The Innisfil Stampeders Soccer Club, who pledged $50,000 to the Rec Centre Campaign over the next five years, presented Mayor Brian Jackson and Fundraising Co-chairs Deputy Mayor Gord Wauchope and Heather MacDonald with a cheque for $5000, their commitment for the year.

Essa Salmon Festival this weekend

      Essa Township once again will be holding its annual Salmon Festival this weekend. The event will start at 6 a.m. Saturday morning and the award winners will be made at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Nottawasaga Fishing Park just outside of Angus along Highway 90.
