Bus patrollers being trained

Bus patrolling safety was the theme of a training day at St. Francis of Assisi on Tuesday, Sept 18.

This was a joint effort between two Catholic schools, South Simcoe Police, and Laidlaw bus company.

There were training sessions for a large number of student volunteer bus and foot patrollers for the school buses that run from these schools all year.

This was a chance to celebrate the great community efforts going on in Innisfil that provide leadership within Innisful for youth 10-13 and a chance to work with the police in a positive and educational way- promoting safety.

This was a very important safety event for students and community in this area.
