Scope loses an editor, Innisfil loses a friend
By Wendy Soloduik
The Innisfil Scope is dedicated to bringing you the news that affects our community in a precise, complete and dedicated way. Many of the positive changes that have taken place at The Scope over the past few years have been brought about in no small part by our former editor, and field reporter, Michelle Minnoch.
Ms. Minnoch has left The Scope to pursue new beginnings as a newspaper editor in Western Canada. Laduc, Alberta, to be precise.
She will be sadly missed by those who have been left behind, and the Scope newspaper has big shoes to fill in her absence.
In October, a new reporter will join our team, but until then, I have the pleasure of taking care of the news in Innisfil, and more importantly, the people it affects.
Michelle was my colleague, and my friend. I wish her all the best in her new pursuits.
In her absence, The Scope aims to continue delivering a community newspaper full of the faces and places that make Innisfil a proud community to live in, with same professional standard set by Michelle.
We hope you're checking up on us on-line Michelle, and this brings a smile to your face.
Here are some highlights from Michelle's going-away party. We hope it puts a smile on your face as well.
