Country crooners hosting festival
      Please join us on Saturday, October 20, at 7:30 p.m. for a Country-Pop benefit concert for the Tec-We- Gwill Hall in Newton Robinson. There will be tributes to Patsy Cline, Barbara Streisand and others by Judy McCoubrey. Tickets are $10, with proceeds benefitting the Hall.

Ramara lobbies for Casino Rama revenue
      The Township of Ramara wants Simcoe County to join with it in lobbying for revenues from Casino Rama. The Casino grossed $525.5 million last year with $105 million going to the province. Ramara says you cannot get to the Casino without going on county and township roads.
