'Last Blast' planned at county museum

The Simcoe County Museum and the Historical Construction Equipment Association present our 8th annual Last Blast at the Simcoe County Museum on Saturday, Oct 13th.

Every year, the heritage equipment collections are powered up for one last blast before the winter, and you are invited to come see it! Wander through the displays of vintage tractors, classic trucks and other historic equipment set up around the Museum grounds. Ride out to the gravel pits to see live demonstrations of steam powered equipment, vintage road building, rock crushing, grading, hoisting and much more. Kids of all ages will love seeing these machines in action!

The Friends of the Simcoe County Museum will serve delicious hot food at our refreshment stand. Event hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Regular Museum admission rates apply - Adult $4, Senior/Student $3.50, Child $2.50, Preschoolers free. For more information, call (705) 728-3721.
