Quilt fair winners

The winners of the Simcoe County Quilt, Rug and Craft Fair's viewers choice awards have been announced.

Celtic creator Diane Bewick won the quilt category, The Lone Pine creator Elaine McGee earned the wall hanging title, and Chenille Jacket creator Jacquelene Ridout earned the clothing award.

The fair was held at the Simcoe County Museum between Sept. 14 and 16. Each year, visitors are invited to view the displays of quilts, wall hangings and clothing items produced by quilters from across the county. They are also asked to vote for their favourite items in the three categories.
