Railway workers continue to prepare, and repair the CN tracks in Innisfil to ensure that GO trains will be able to pass safely when rail lines are opened later this month.

GO Train commuter service had previously ended in Bradford, but will now be extended into the Barrie station (at Yonge Street). GO reminds people who have been using the lines for bike riding, walking paths, or as ATV paths to alter their routes well in advance to avoid disaster
