Greyhounds building at the right pace

Innisfil Greyhounds Men's over-45 soccer teams sweep both league and cup championships recently.

Last week's victory over the Barrie Packers in the Simcoe County Senior Soccer League Cup Final at the Nottawasaga Inn completed the sweep which began last weekend with the League Championship Title over the runner up from Alliston.

Just four years after the club's inception, and with most of the original members still participating, success was achieved. Despite strong results over the first four years, the titles fell just out of their reach. A balance of diversified attacking and strong defense has been the Club's trademark.

With the continued growth and development of the Club's over-35 teams, Innisfil men's soccer appears to be an entity to contend with for years to come.
