Winterhawks take flight, won silver at last tournament

Submitted Photo Members of the Winterhawks Atom AE team recently competed in the North London Nationals Tournament. The team won a silver medal.

On Thanksgiving weekend the Atom AE team travelled west across the 401 to participate in the North London Nationals Tournament. After playing five games in two days, the boys lost to the tough London National Atom A team in the final. They are proud to bring Innisfil the silver medal. Goals for the Wee Digger Team were scored by Cole Vardy, Cody Harrison, Luke Hiebert, Brendan Montague, and Jacob Mcleary. Assists were by Walker Curtis (2), Jett Karreman (2), Luke Hiebert, and Cody Harrison. Hard work and determination by all contributed to their success. The team also includes Matthew McGrath, Nathan Parker, Josh Columbus, Cooper Moore, Travis Davies, Marshell Hamilton, Kyle Sickinger and Jesse Tuckey.
