Wolfpack attacked competition

Submitted Photo Members of the Innisfil Wolfpack competed in an Under 16 lacrosse field league recently. The team beat teams in Wellington and Orangeville to capture the league championship. The team consisted of players from Innisfil and Newmarket, and were known for having a stingy defence.

The Innisfil Wolfpack entered an Under 16 team for the first time this fall and ended the season with a great weekend in Orangeville over Thanksgiving. The team was made of Innisfil and Newmarket field players that came together for the new U16 league.

After winning only one game in the round robin the

Pack' pulled together and played defence as if their lives depended on it! They beat the first placed Centre Wellington team in the semi-finals by one goal, and then beat the Orangeville Northmen by two to take the Championship.

The Wolfpack would like to congratulate our players and coaching staff on a great effort - the desire and heart certainly made the games great to watch.
