Cookstown businesses raising cash for cancer research Saturday

Several Cookstown businesses will participate in a fundraiser for breast cancer research Saturday.

Queenstreet Station Fashions and Gifts, The Princely Pear Tea Room and McLachlan Florist's and The Gallery on Queen will host their third annual fundraiser for breast cancer research between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. McLachlan will donate floral demonstrations for a draw, while the gallery will host a silent auction. The tea room an boutique will offer wine tasting, food sampling and holiday decorating tips.
