Chamber of Commerce selecting new board members in December

The nominating committee of the Greater Innisfil Chamber of Commerce is asking for your assistance in identifying individuals with strong leadership skills to become members of the board of officers and directors.

The nominating committee is now accepting nominations for review, based on the qualification and skills that are currently needed on the board.

The enclosed nomination form should be faxed or emailed to Carolann Companion at 431-8020 or Carolann@innisfilchamber.c om. The deadline for applications is Nov. 16.

Board members should have previous board or committee experience with an organization and be an open-minded leader.

Members will be expected to serve a one year term.

Each individual nominated for the board will be interviewed by the nominating committee.

The committee will make its recommendations to the board prior to the annual general meeting.

The board will present the slate of qualified candidates to the membership for their approval at the annual general meeting in December.
