Wauchope helping to find two source water protection committee members

Innisfil deputy mayor Gord Wauchope was appointed by town council to help select two municipal representatives for the South Georgian Bay Lake Simcoe Source Protection Committee, during a meeting last week.

The Ontario government's Clean Water Act requires the municipalities within the Lake Simcoe watershed to select two representatives for the source protection committee.

Wauchope will be a voting member of the selection committee, and is expected to elect the municipal representatives Dec. 6.
