Tip line nets two

During October, Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin- Muskoka received 273 calls, assisting to the solving of 17 cases.

These investigations resulted in two arrests, six charges, the recovery of $15,000 in property and the seizure of $3.2 million in drugs. Charges laid include break and enter, theft, weapons, and narcotics. Since the organization was established in 1987, it has received nearly 39,400 calls, leading to almost 3,200 arrests.
