Scooping up animals comes with a pricetag

Innisfil's streets won't be going to the animals.

Town council has extended the contract of Harry Welsh Limited, to provide animal control services throughout the area until next December. As part of the agreement, the company will service the town for $65,000 next year, with an $85 per week fuel allowance.

Welsh has served the town since 2005. Under the current contract, the town pays the company $62,000 per year, with a $60 per week gas allowance.
