LEFROY AND BELLE EWART NEWS
by Linda Gerow

Innisfil Pipes and Drums: Want to join a great band? No Experience necessary! Free pipe and drum lesson provided. Uniforms provided when ready to parade. Travel and opportunities to meet new people.

It's a fun and enjoyable experience. Experienced pipers and drummers are also welcome.

For more information, please contact Ken Wilkinson at 456-3717.

Lefroy United Church news and coming events: There's a website for the Lefroy United Church at http://www.lefroyunited.ca. Check it out.

Christmas bazaar: Saturday December 1. You'll be able to complete your Christmas shopping and then enjoy a homemade soup and sandwich lunch. Don't forget to go into the sanctuary for a little trip back into Innisfil's history, as you see local antique quilts on display. This year, we have added a display of hand crafted or novelty tea towels.

For crafters, there are still a few tables to rent to sell your wares.

Call Diana at 456-0255 or the church at 456-2098. There will also be a quilt, made by the ladies of Lefroy United Church, in the silent auction. A display of antique quilts will also be on hand. The sale begins at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Rev. Todd McDonald was officially welcomed on Sunday November 18. In true tradition, a new minister is welcomed to the community through a special covenanting service. The beautiful service was well attended, with newlyordained Rev. Ruth McDonald from Bradford United Church as our gracious and eloquent guest speaker.

We would like to thank all the special people that were able to attend this service, travelling from near and far, we so enjoyed having you share this special day with us.

Quote: "You can't change the past but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future." Thanks Shirley.
