Dues must be paid soon, and other Legion news

Membership: All members who have not paid their dues should try to pay them this weekend, to get in on the early bird contest. We will be drawing for free memberships during the New Years levy.

Attention all veterans: You still have time to contact use if you want to attend. Give us a call. We are hosting a dinner for any local veteran. So call us if you haven't received your invitation. The dinner will be on Dec. 2, starting at p.m. Phone Joyce at 431- 9231, or Maggie at 456- 7293.

Toronto skydivers: We catered a dinner for the jumpers and pilots from the Toronto Skydivers Club, they are out of the Cookstown airport. They showed some very interesting videos. What an exciting night. I recommend anyone who has a notion of jumping to give them a call.

Zone visit: Our annual visit from the zone commander is Dec. 18, at our monthly general meeting.

I urge all members to attend. Come on out and support the branch.
