Fatal collision claims life of Innisfil man

Dufferin OPP investigated a fatal motor vehicle collision that claimed the life of an Innisfil resident Nov. 22.

Thomas Aikman, 61, was driving his 1995 Dodge Ram north on Highway 10, in the Town of Mono, Dufferin County. For unknown reasons, Aikman's vehicle crossed the centre line and struck a southbound water delivery truck head-on, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.

Aikman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the water delivery truck was treated at the scene by paramedics.

The OPP are continuing the investigation.
