Timely goaltending and hard work pay off for Icebreakers at King City tournament last week

Thursday November 22 - Lefroy took on Beeton 1 in a hard fought match. Solid goaltending and defence assisted Lefroy in taking the win 4-1. Goals scored by Brandon Twine (2) and Zach Hellings (2). Assists from Thomas Dunn, Lucas Reimer, Brendan Heenan, Grant Scott, Michael Norris and Hayden Adams-Peacock with a pair.

Saturday November 24 - Lefroy Atom 3 travelled to King City for a day tournament.

Lefroy met TNT in game one. Despite many shots on goal, Lefroy could not solve TNT's hot goalie.

Goals scored by Brandon Twine and Zach Hellings with assists from Julia Timbers, Grant Scott and Thomas Dunn. A more energized Lefroy team saw the hard shooting Newmarket team in game two. Despite being edged by Newmarket, Lefroy's own Luc Bujold was solid in net, making many outstanding saves. Lefroy came alive in game three taking on Nobleking 2.

Hard work and more shooting saw them edge Nobleking by a score of 2-0. Goals scored by Zach Hellings and Brandon Twine with assists from Michael Norris (2), Grant Scott and Lucas Reimer. Great day Lefroy and thanks to coaches Jeff Hellings, Lawrence Hellings, Don Timbers and Steve Twine.
