Major company could bring financial boost to Simcoe County
By Richard Blanchard

1-A major Canadian business may be relocating to South Simcoe according to Bradford West Gwillimbury mayor Doug White.

White told county councillors during budget deliberations that one of the top 200 companies in Canada,

which he did not identify by

name, was seriously relocating

888-557-6626

to the southern part of

905-857-6626

the county.

"The company is going to consolidate its various departments in a central location and is looking at locations throughout the Great Toronto Area. The county is under review and it could mean as many as a 1,000 jobs coming to the county," he said. "It could mean between $1.5 and $2 million in taxation per year."

White said that attracting businesses of this size was crucial to the county's future prosperity.
