Cookstown United Church may become more accessible

Good news! Cookstown United Church is preparing to become accessible. Presbytery passed the petition to go ahead with two wheelchair lifts for the church (one at the northwest corner leading to the Narthex and one at the south door going down into the chruch hall). No, it is not the very best solution to the problem, however it is a good compromise and one we can afford. The total estimated cost is $39,197.

With outstanding funds available, $2,040 is left to raise. When you are considering your Christmas gifts how about a donation to the church for accessibilty? Remember also, year end is coming and your donation would be tax deductible. On behalf of the ham supper committee, many thanks to all those who helped with the supper.
