Cinderella dropping magic slipper in Cookstown soon The family show Cinderella will be playing at the Old Town Hall Theatre in Cookstown from Dec. 12 to 16. The show features a cast of all ages, and contains some of the traditional elements of a pantomime like audience involvement, references to local people and places and a little innuendo. Produced by the not-forprofit organization Onstage Performance Group, a portion of the proceeds from the show will be donated to Royal Victoria Hospital's Simcoe-Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre. Six performances are scheduled, with show times at 7 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday. Matinees will take place Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $15 for adults to $10 for children. For more information, call 735-0697 or 431-2635. |
